Chocolate Chip Cookies
This recipe is from the Gold Medal Flour bag. If you don’t bake them too long, they’re soft and somewhat chewy.
Using an ice cream scoop to drop the dough on the cookie sheets makes them more uniform and they’ll bake more consistently.

Chocolate Chip Cookies
Soft, chewy chocolate chip cookies.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups butter softened
- 1-1/4 cups sugar
- 1-1/4 cups brown sugar firmly packed
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 4 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 ounces chocolate chips
Instructions

Cream butter and sugars.

Stir in vanilla and eggs.

Mix in dry ingredients.

Stir in chocolate chips.

Drop about 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350° for 10 – 15 minutes until light brown.
